Welcome to B-Street Student Ministry!

The purpose of the youth ministry at Buncombe Street Methodist Church is to partner with parents to engage, encourage, and equip our youth to become confident, Christ-centered servants.

Serve with B-Street Students!

Parents, we need your help. We need folks that are willing to bring breakfast on Sunday mornings. Can't sign up to be there every Sunday, that's okay! Choose one Sunday a month or several Sundays each semester. Serve with B-Street Students

Youth Sunday School

Youth Sunday School meets on Sundays from 10:00-10:50 AM on the Youth Hall. We welcome all youth in 6th-12th grades.  We hope to see you there!

Craving connection? This is where you should start. InHouse Groups generally meet twice per month on Sunday evenings throughout the school year. Middle School InHouse meets once a month at the church, and High School InHouse meets at people’s homes. Each InHouse group is traditionally split up by grades and gender.

Our Confirmation program is designed to integrate into the life of our youth. Right now, Confirmation is currently for students in 7th and 8th grade. Older than 8th grade and would like to Confirm? No problem! You are more than welcome. The 2023-2024 Confirmation program has started, but if you would like additional information on it, please email bstreetconfirmation@gmail.com.

  • Fall Retreat (annually in October or November) (postponed for 2023)
  • Walk With Christ is a student-led spiritual retreat held over a weekend (annually in February)

Mission Trips

Both high school and middle school students are welcome to attend any mission trips offered through Buncombe Street. Over the past two years, we have taken teams to Ecuador and Costa Rica during the summer months, and we plan to return for the summer of 2024. Be on the lookout for churchwide communications regarding registration dates for these trips!
