The purpose of the youth ministry at Buncombe Street Methodist Church is to partner with parents to engage, encourage, and equip our youth to become confident, Christ-centered servants.

My Story, Your Glory: Matthew West Concert on October 30
Join us at 7:00 PM on October 30 for a night of fun, fellowship and music as we head over to First Presbyterian for Matthew West’s My Story, Your Glory concert event with special guest Micah Tyler. We will meet at the church at 6:15 PM and walk over together before the concert. Tickets are limited, and are $36 / person. Youth of all ages are invited. Reserve your spot today! Youth Sunday School meets on Sundays from 10:00-10:50 AM on the Youth Hall. We welcome all youth in 6th-12th grades. We hope to see you there!InHouse
Craving connection? This is where you should start. InHouse Groups generally meet twice per month on Sunday evenings throughout the school year. Middle School InHouse meets once a month at the church, and High School InHouse meets at people’s homes. Each InHouse group is traditionally split up by grades and gender.Confirmation
Our Confirmation program is designed to integrate into the life of our youth. Right now, Confirmation is currently for students in 7th and 8th grade. Older than 8th grade and would like to Confirm? No problem! You are more than welcome. The 2023-2024 Confirmation program has started, but if you would like additional information on it, please email bstreetconfirmation@gmail.com.Retreats
- Fall Retreat (annually in October or November) (postponed for 2023)
- Walk With Christ is a student-led spiritual retreat held over a weekend (annually in February)
Mission Trips
Both high school and middle school students are welcome to attend any mission trips offered through Buncombe Street. Over the past two years, we have taken teams to Ecuador and Costa Rica during the summer months, and we plan to return for the summer of 2024.
