Financial Pledge Commitment

If you feel ready to respond to God's generosity by making a financial commitment to the church, please do so using the forms below. There are several funds to which you can pledge, and if you choose to, you can set up recurring pledge payments at the same time. If you have questions about setting up your pledge, please contact Karen Gambrell in the church office.

2024 Financial Pledge

You can mail or drop off this form to the Downtown church office (200 Buncombe Street GVL SC 29601) during office hours.

Below is a list of funds and descriptions of how funds are used.

General Funds

These funds support the annual operating budget. Included are each of our ministry areas – Adult, Children, Youth, Music & Arts, Congregational Care, Worship, Recreation, and Prayer. The General Funds also cover many of our facility expenses for each campus as well as staff salaries. Generous giving to the operating fund allows us to invest in programs and ministries that enable the church to develop opportunities, attract new members, and expand our outreach to the community.

Next Chapter Fund (Debt Reduction)

The initial goal of the Next Chapter fund is to pay off the money borrowed by the church to leave the UMC. After the debt is extinguished, the fund will be used in a variety of ways to improve the church.

Missions Operating Fund

We are called to be the hands and feet of Christ. Missions & Outreach currently supports 21 organizations working locally and internationally to disrupt the cycle of poverty, empower the most vulnerable, and provide hope through the love of Jesus Christ.
