Stewardship

"Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you." - Luke 6:38

At Buncombe Street Methodist Church, every member is a minister. That means we try out different service opportunities until we find one that fits. It means we share our financial resources as we are able. We continue to invest in our faith community as it strengthens our personal relationship with God. We ask ourselves, “Why not try something new?” and “Why not invest in what matters?” Upon joining the United Methodist Church, all members make a promise to uphold it by their “prayers, presence, gifts, service and witness.”

Here’s how we are using our prayers, presence, gifts, service & witness to be stewards of God’s kingdom here at BSUMC. We hope you see yourself somewhere in this picture.
