View All NewsWe invite all to join us for this season of hope and light as we celebrate the coming of the Christ child.
Starting Sunday December 3 in worship, we will begin a series entitled “Roots: Advent and the Family Story of Jesus.” The series will focus on Jesus genealogical ancestry and his faith heritage. We will journey through the stories of both saints and sinners who are woven into the family line of Jesus. Invite a friend to come learn about the amazing, and perhaps surprising lineage of the Son of God.

Join us for a night of family fun as we kick off the Advent season! Drop in anytime between 4:00 – 6:00 PM on Sunday, December 3 in Sisk Hall. We will have stations with various activities for kids of all ages, including building gingerbread nativity scenes, making Christmas ornaments, and creating Advent wreaths. We will also have a station for holiday snack-making and kids will have a chance to write Christmas cards to our homebound members. There will be an opportunity for families to pick up and sponsor an Angel from “Mr. Bobby’s Angel Tree”, which has been put together by our own Bobby Thompson.
Bring your friends, family, and neighbors to this exciting Christmas celebration!
Women are invited to join us for our annual B-Street Women’s Christmas Luncheon on Tuesday, December 12. Our guest speaker, Angie Gage, will focus on reclaiming Advent, a season designed to lift our hearts to the light and life of Christ. Register by November 30 to get your free copy of the Advent devotional by Dan Wilt and follow along with our Advent sermon series, Roots. We can’t wait to take this time to pause, lean in, and “Behold, The Bright Morning Star” during such a busy season!
Celebrate Christmas with our annual Lessons and Carols worship service. This is a special worship service that tells the story of the fall of humanity, the promised return of the Messiah, and the birth of Jesus, through various scripture readings and songs. This year, we will have some church leaders reading the scriptures, alongside the singing by our Chancel choir and congregation.
*As a reminder, there are no worship services in Sisk Hall on December 17. Please note that both our 8:45 AM & 11:00 AM Lessons & Carols services will be in the Traditional Sanctuary.
Join us on December 17 at 10:15 AM in Sisk Hall as our 4th and 5th graders present their special Christmas Nativity Program. Journey along with our B-Street Kids as they lead us through the Nativity story with familiar Christmas songs in celebration of Jesus’ birth. An important part of this program is the collection of donations to support a cause close to our kids’ hearts. This year, we are supporting “Mr. Bobby’s Angel Tree”, which has been put together by our own Bobby Thompson. If you sponsored an Angel, please bring your items and we will have a moment during the program to collect them. Children’s Sunday School classes will attend this program together, as a class, on December 17.
*As a reminder, there are no worship services in Sisk Hall on December 17. Please join us before in the Sanctuary at 8:45 AM or after the program at 11:00 AM for our Lessons & Carols service.
Young adults (college and early 20s) are invited to come to celebrate the Christmas Season with The Bridge at B-Street at the home of Jim and Allison Warren (19 Parkins Glen Ct) on Tuesday, December 19 from 6:30-8:00 PM. Join us for dinner from Henry’s BBQ, a game with lots of prizes, and a hot chocolate bar! You do not have to be signed up for The Bridge at B-Street to attend. Please bring a friend!

As you make plans with your family, please know that children are welcome in worship. The nursery is open for children ages 0-3 for the 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM services.
